Home / Case Studies / Landscaping with sleepers
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The front garden of this property was looking at little worse for wear. After trenching out the designated areas we then dug out concrete pads to sit the 10" x 5" sleepers on. They were then layed and fixed in place to produce split level flower beds around the perimeter. The areas were lined with membrane and filled with topsoil. In the centre of the remaining area we layed a brick radius in alternating colours. A short pathway was formed to rise from the driveway onto the central area with driftwood paving. The remaining area was then lined and blinded with sand in preparation for artificial grass to be fitted.
